Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 7, 2026 · Last Updated: October 9, 2026

Overview

AuraBay Life ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent, licensed life insurance agency and a brand of Prospera Management LLC, operated by Jacob Bosco, Licensed Insurance Agent (NPN 21353446). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request a coverage estimate, or submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to ask us to stop.

We are an independent agency. We are not a bank, a broker-dealer, or a registered investment advisor, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency, the Social Security Administration, or any retirement plan administrator. We represent multiple insurance carriers and are not owned or controlled by any of them.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. Our estimate tool asks for your date of birth (or age), gender, and whether you use tobacco, so it can generate a sample figure. None of that is transmitted to us unless you choose to submit the request form. The request form asks for your full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and state, along with the premium amount you selected. If you contact us another way — by phone, email, or by booking an appointment — we collect what you choose to tell us, including any message you send.

Information you give us on Facebook or Instagram. Some of our ads use a lead form that opens inside Facebook or Instagram. That form asks for your name, phone number, and email address (which Meta may prefill from your account), along with a few short answers such as your type of work, the plan you are interested in, and the best time to reach you. We receive only what you submit on the form.

Information you give a licensed agent later. To determine what you actually qualify for, a licensed agent will usually need more: your height and weight, medical history, prescriptions, driving record, income, occupation, existing coverage, and financial objectives. You give this to an agent directly, in conversation or on a carrier application. It is not collected by this website.

Information collected automatically. If you accept cookies, we and our advertising partner may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view on this site, the page that referred you, and the approximate location an IP address implies. If you decline, this collection does not occur and the site works exactly the same.

Information we do not collect. We do not ask for your Social Security number, bank or investment account details, or medical records through this website. Insurance carriers conduct their own underwriting directly with you, under their own privacy policies and authorizations that you sign separately.

How We Use Your Information

Calls, Texts, and Marketing Consent

When you submit your phone number through our request form or through one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms, you give express written consent for AuraBay Life, Jacob Bosco, and its licensed agents to call and text you at that number about life insurance and related products and services — including through an automated telephone dialing system, prerecorded or artificial voice, or AI-generated voice — for marketing purposes.

This consent is not a condition of purchase. You can obtain insurance through us without agreeing to automated contact. Call or email us instead and tell us so.

Your consent authorizes AuraBay Life and its principal agent, Jacob Bosco, only. We are the sole named party on that consent. We do not sell, share, or transfer your consent or your contact information to other agencies, agents, lead buyers, or marketing partners.

Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. To stop calls, tell the agent on any call, or email us at the address below and ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list. We honor revocation requests made by any reasonable method and will stop within ten business days at the latest, usually much sooner.

We keep a record of the exact consent wording you were shown, the date and time you submitted it, the page or Facebook/Instagram form you submitted it from, and the phone number you authorized, because insurance and telemarketing rules require us to be able to produce it.

Information Sharing

We share your information with:

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for monetary consideration in the preceding twelve months. Loading the advertising pixel, if you accept it, counts as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law — which is why it is off unless you turn it on. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not sell or transfer leads to other agencies, agents, or call centers. If this ever changes, we will update this policy before it takes effect and give you a way to opt out first.

Third-Party Technology We Use

We use one advertising technology on this website, and only with your permission:

Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc. — Facebook and Instagram). If, and only if, you click Accept on our cookie banner, we load the Meta pixel. It is used to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising is working and to build audiences for future advertising.

What Meta receives: your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view on this site, the referring page, cookie identifiers Meta has already set in your browser, and events describing what you did here — opening the quote form, moving through it, submitting it, and booking an appointment.

What Meta does not receive from this website: we do not pass your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, health information, or the answers you gave in the quote form to Meta or to any advertising platform.

Once Meta receives this information it is governed by Meta's own privacy policy, available at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can control ad personalization in your own Meta account settings.

We do not use Google Analytics, TikTok, LinkedIn, or any other advertising or analytics tracker on this site. If we add one, we will name it here before it goes live.

Our appointment booking is provided by Calendly. It runs only after you submit the form and choose to book, and it is governed by Calendly's own privacy policy.

Facebook and Instagram Lead Forms

Some of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, run by Jacob Bosco, Licensed Insurance Agent (NPN 21353446), operating through Prospera Management LLC, use a lead form that opens inside the Facebook or Instagram app. These forms work differently from the request form on this website:

Cookies and Tracking

The banner shown on your first visit is a real choice, not a formality.

Advertising and analytics cookies — including the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel — do not load unless you click Accept. Choosing Decline blocks them entirely, and costs you no site functionality.

We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we know not to ask again. It contains nothing but a record of whether you accepted or declined. If you accept and later change your mind, clearing your browser's site data for this domain resets the choice and the banner reappears. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Targeted Advertising and Your Choices

Loading the advertising pixel constitutes targeted advertising under several state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time by:

We honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request on its own. No advertising cookie loads, the cookie banner does not appear, and the opt-out is recorded automatically. You do not have to click anything.

You can also change your choice at any time using the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of any page, or opt out in one click using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link beside it.

Health, Tobacco, and Financial Information

The estimate tool asks whether you use tobacco because life insurance pricing depends on it. That answer stays in your browser and is only transmitted to us if you submit the request form.

If you describe your health, prescriptions, or finances to an agent by phone or email, we use it only to identify coverage you may qualify for, to estimate pricing, and to document suitability as insurance regulations require. We treat it as confidential. We do not sell health or financial information, share it for advertising, or use it for any purpose other than helping you obtain coverage. Residents of states with specific consumer health data laws, including Washington and Nevada, may contact us at the address below to exercise rights relating to this information.

How Long We Keep Information

If you become a client, we retain your records for as long as your policy is active and afterwards for as long as state insurance record-keeping rules require, generally at least five years.

If you request an estimate and do not become a client, we retain the inquiry and its consent record for up to five years, which is the period during which a telemarketing claim could be brought and we could be asked to produce proof of your consent. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will, while retaining the consent record itself for that legal purpose only.

Data Security

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. We limit access to your information to the agents and staff who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may ask us at any time to:

Email info@aurabaylife.com or call the number below. We will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you and will not treat you differently for asking.

If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response. We will decide any appeal within 45 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or a comparable state statute. We honor these requests from residents of every state regardless of whether a particular law applies to us.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Where you give an agent a child's information as part of a family coverage or juvenile policy inquiry, we collect it from you as the parent or guardian and use it only to arrange that coverage. If you believe a child has provided information to us directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we have already collected from you, we will notify you directly before it takes effect.
